About me
My name is Melissa, I am 26 years old and I am from France.
Before fully committing to the performing arts, I pursued a more traditional academic path, which allowed me to travel and live abroad, particularly in several English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom and Canada. These experiences greatly shaped my cultural openness and my ease in international environments.
I later trained in the performing arts, completing four years of professional theater conservatory training. This comprehensive program included acting, dance, singing, as well as physical training and body percussion. Alongside this, I also completed two years of classical (lyric) vocal training at a conservatory.
Eager to further develop my acting skills, I then traveled to the United States to attend a summer program at the New York Film Academy, focused on on-camera acting and the Stanislavski method. During this time, I worked on several short film projects, met professionals from the industry — including artists connected to musical theatre and Broadway — and built an international network while refining my artistic vision.
Today, after a journey between Europe and North America, I have found my place in South Korea, where I continue to develop my artistic and professional career.

공연 예술 분야로 본격적으로 진로를 정하기 전에는 일반적인 학업 과정을 밟았고, 이를 통해 영국과 캐나다를 포함한 여러 영어권 국가에서 거주 및 여행할 기회를 가졌습니다. 이러한 경험은 저의 문화적 개방성과 국제적인 환경에서의 적응력을 키워주었습니다.
이후 공연 예술 분야로 진로를 전환하여 4년간 연극 콘서바토리 과정을 수료하였습니다. 해당 과정에서는 연기, 무용, 보컬, 그리고 신체 트레이닝 및 바디 퍼커션을 포함한 종합적인 예술 교육을 받았습니다. 동시에 성악(리릭 보컬) 콘서바토리 과정을 2년간 이수하였습니다.
연기 역량을 더욱 발전시키기 위해 미국 뉴욕 필름 아카데미 (NYFA)의 서머 프로그램에 참여하여 카메라 연기와 스타니슬랍스키 메소드를 중심으로 훈련을 받았습니다. 이 과정에서 여러 단편 영화 프로젝트에 참여했으며, 뮤지컬 및 브로드웨이와 관련된 업계 관계자들을 만나며 국제적인 네트워크를 구축하고 예술적 시야를 넓혔습니다.
현재는 유럽과 북미에서의 경험을 바탕으로 대한민국에 정착하여, 저만의 예술적·전문적 커리어를 이어가고 있습니다.

활동 경력
프랑스에서는 런웨이 모델, 패션 및 상업 촬영, 그리고 다양한 크리에이티브 프로젝트에 참여하며 모델로 활동해 왔습니다. 모델 활동과 함께 무대 퍼포먼스를 병행하며 폭넓은 예술적 경험을 쌓았습니다.
한국으로 활동 무대를 옮긴 이후에는 주로 모델로 활동하고 있으며, 엑스트라 출연, 유튜브 채널 협업(라이프스타일 콘텐츠 및 먹방 콘텐츠 등)에도 참여해 왔습니다. 현재도 국내외를 막론하고 크리에이티브 팀, 브랜드, 예술 프로젝트와의 새로운 협업을 지속적으로 모색하고 있습니다.
또한 약 5년간 퍼포먼스 기반의 개인 예술 프로젝트를 운영하며 파이어 퍼포먼스, 스틸트(죽마) 워킹, 카바레 퍼포먼스, 보컬 공연 등 다양한 라이브 무대를 선보였습니다. 이러한 경험을 통해 다양한 환경과 형식의 작업에 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 전문성을 갖추게 되었습니다.
한편, 리듬체조를 고급 수준으로 오랜 기간 수련하며 전국대회까지 출전, 팀으로 프랑스 챔피언 타이틀을 획득한 경험이 있습니다. 이 과정에서 쌓은 강한 집중력, 신체 컨트롤, 규율감은 현재의 모델 및 퍼포먼스 작업에도 큰 영향을 주고 있습니다.
또한 싱어송라이터로서 직접 곡을 쓰고 음악을 발표한 경험이 있으며, 새로운 도전을 즐기고 다양한 창작 영역을 탐구하는 것을 중요하게 생각합니다. 서로 다른 배경을 가진 사람들과 협업하며 새로운 가능성을 발견하는 것이 저의 작업의 핵심입니다.
In France, I worked as a model on runway shows, fashion and commercial shoots, and various creative projects. Alongside modeling, I developed a strong stage presence through live performances and multidisciplinary artistic work.
After moving to South Korea, I have mainly been working as a model, while also taking part in projects as an extra, collaborating with YouTube channels, including lifestyle content and mukbang-style videos. I am continuously looking to collaborate with creative teams, brands, and artistic projects, both locally and internationally.
For over five years, I also ran my own performance-based artistic project, where I worked as a live performer, combining fire performance, stilt walking, cabaret, and singing. This experience strengthened my adaptability, professionalism, and ability to work in diverse environments and formats.
In parallel, I trained for many years in high-level rhythmic gymnastics, competing up to national-level competitions, where my team became French champions. This background gave me strong discipline, body awareness, and physical control, which continue to influence my work today.
I am also a singer and songwriter, having written and released my own music. I enjoy challenging myself, exploring new creative fields, and collaborating with people from different backgrounds. Curiosity, versatility, and growth are at the core of my artistic journey.
